“Extremist photos case”: Court’s decision to be pronounced today
The “Belarus press photo 2011” trial was held in Ashmyany District Court on Wednesday.
KGB noticed extremism in the photos. A few dozen copies of the album were detained by Ashmyany customs last autumn.
The dispute took place on April 17. A KGB representative asked to recognize the album as extremist. The photographers did not agree with it. The photos only reflect events in the country, they do not call for extremism, they think.
The sentence will be pronounced at 4 p.m. on Thursday
