French cinema week starts in Brest
The French Embassy together with "Brestablkinavideaprakat" will present five movies to the inhabitants of Brest.
The cinema week started with the historical drama "Jean de La Fontaine - Challenge of Destiny". Advisor for cooperation and culture of the French Embassy in the Republic of Belarus Liz Talbaut Barret had greeted the audience before the movie started. According to her, the organizers tried to make the program as various as possible in order to attract the broadest audience.
Four showings will take place in the small hall of the "Belarus" cinema each day till November 20. The movies will be demonstrated in the original language with the Russian subtitles.
