Leanid Pisanik drives his Nissan. The District Executive Committee is worried about its head - the official's car is already old.
“The head of the committee drives a Nissan. It is very old. It is falling apart", - explained the Executive Committee.
Yelsk District Executive Committee set up an auction to buy a new car at the end of August. The official wanted a Touareg V6 TDI Tiptronic. It costs 600 million roubles and the local budget had to be used for it.
Euroradio reporters have wondered whether the Executive Committee has bought the car. They said that they had not bought the car and refused to comment on it sending the reporters to the website of state purchases.
According to the website, the auction has been cancelled and announced to be... a mistake.
