Heads of colonies may be added on EU “black list”
The initiative has been suggested by the information and educational organization “Platform” protecting prisoners’ rights.
The human rights defenders say that they support the European Union’s actions. They have also asked to add representatives of prisons and detention centres connected with tortures on the black list of Belarusian officials. Heads of colonies and their deputies should be among them.
"Platform" thinks that representatives of Shklou colony #17 Syarhei Yermalіtskі and Pavel Yehuleuskі, Babruisk colony #3 (“Vitsba”) – Vital Ahnistsikau, Horki colony #9 – Alyaksandr Kavalyou, Ivatsevichy colony #5 - Aleh Kasko and head of KGB prison Alyaksandr Arlou should become personae non gratae.
