Laureates of Jerzy Giedroyc's literature award to be announced today
The event will take place in the office of the Belarusian PEN-center.
Let us remind you, the Jerzy Giedroyc's literature award has been given since 2012 for the best prosaic book published within the previous year in the Belarusian language, either on paper or electronically. It has been established by the Polish Embassy in Belarus, the Polish Institute in Minsk, the Belarusian PEN-center, the Union of Belarusian Writers and the Sombelbank.
At present moment there are 12 nominees. Among them - Lyavon Volski, Artur Klinau, Alyaksandr Lukashuk, Victar Martsinovich, Andrej Fedarenka, Max Schur. Today there will be only 6 nominees left.
The festive awarding ceremony will take place in Minsk on March 3 - the International Writer's Day.
