Nyaklyaeu, journalists beaten by police in Minsk
The riot police have attacked a column of people that was headed by presidential candidate Uladzimie Nyaklyaeu.
Nyaklyaeu and his supporters were set to march to October Square and to carry sound amplifiers. However, they were blocked and beaten up. Nyaklayeu was beaten to unconciousness. Several journalists, including photo reporter Yulia Darashkevich, were also beaten up. The equipment was seized by security services.
