Polish Sejm to nominate Ales Byalyatski for Nobel Prize
The official statement of members of the Polish Sejm will be presented on Friday.
They are going to nominate Belarusian human rights activist Ales Byalyatski for the Nobel Peace Prize. The appeal has been signed by members of the Polish Sejm and MPs of 27 EU member states, reports Radio “Liberty”.
According to Sejm member Andrzej Golicki, head of the PACE Polish delegation, ex-President of Poland and Nobel Peace Prize winner Lech Wałęsa may also support them.
