Prices for alcohol and cigarettes to increase by 30% since June 1
Sellers in Minsk stores say this.
"Karona" supermarket has introduced limitations for sale of cigarettes in the end - no more than 5 packs are sold to one person. According to AFN, such limitations have been approved and will be put into practice in other Minsk stores in the nearest future.
The limitations are caused by the sellers' attempt to preserve the assortment in any possible way on the background of suspension of shipments. Producers and importers of tobacco products are waiting for the price increase since June 1.
Alongside with that, import of cigarettes may be stopped totally, AFN notes.
