Results of Lahoisk blast investigation to be published in February
Euroradio has found this out in the Investigatory Committee.
Investigatory
Committee official: "The term of investigation of this case
has been prolonged till February 8".
The procedural decision will be announced on the same day. Thus, a year will
pass since the incident in the village of Malinauka near Lahoisk. On February
8, 2012, the blast destroyed a part of the residential building. One person
died, several more were severely injured. The inhabitants of the destroyed
house were settled in other apartments while the house was restored on an
urgent basis - the people moved back in the beginning of October.
Initially, the reason for such strong blast was claimed to be a domestic gas
leak (gas workers were there on that day), but this wasn't confirmed officially.
Announcement of the investigation results was postponed several times, the last
term was December 31, 2012. Some inhabitants of the house think that they hide
the investigation results on purpose, like, if no one is guilty, no one is to
be sued and demanded compensation for lost property then.
