Ukraine's MFA unwilling to comment their Ambassador's statements in Belarus
Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not think it necessary to focus on the statement of Ambassador to Belarus Victar Tsikhanau.
This has been informed by director of the informational policy department Aleh Valoshyn, informs the Ukrainian web-site "Obkom". Let us remind you, Tsikhanau gave an interview last week, in which he estimated the political situation in Belarus as positive.
According to Valoshyn, the work of an Ambassador in any country is to try, while defending the interests of his own country, to obtain sympathy of the administration and the society of the country he works in. The diplomat noted that the Ambassador should stick to the national interests, but he is supposed to be accepted positively in the country of his stay.
