Zmitser Bandarenka is kept in "submarine" in Valadarski street prison
Coordinator of the "European Belarus" Zmitser Bandarenka got into one of the worst cells, which is overcrowded and located in the basement.
According to the prisoner's wife Volha Bandarenka, such cells are called "submarines" in the Valadarski Street prison - for squash, mold and poor light. According to Mrs. Volha, her husband's ulcer got worse. He also has troubles with his leg and back, but they won't call a neurologist, Radio Liberty reports.
Zmitser Bandarenka was sentenced to 2 years of imprisonment for participation in the December 19 events. A protocol of the court trial has not been provided to the prisoner yet, therefore, he cannot compose an appeal against the sentence.
