Russia bans one more meat-packer from Belarus

Starting from 10 December, Rosselhoznadzor prohibited exports of Hrodna meat-packing plant products to Russia. According to the agency, as reported by interfax.by, in the sausage of this meat-packing plant, which was sold in Ryazan, tested positive for the virus genome of African swine fever (ASF). This is a violation of veterinary-sanitary requirements of the Customs Union and Russia.

Hrodna meat-packing plant became the ninth Belarusian company that had its production banned in Russia due to the ASF virus genome.

By the way, from 11 December and for the same reason, Russia banned the delivery of products from Ashmiany slaughterhouse. It was also sold in Ryazan.
