Russian Foreign Minister accuses EU of exercising pressure on Belarus
The Russian Minister of Foreign Affaires Sergei Lavrov made a speech at the forum in Brussels on Marc 21 and accused the European Union of an issue. According to him, the structure is trying to exercise pressure on Belarus so that it would not recognize the independence of Abkhazia and South Ossetia. The forum in Brussels is an annual meeting of American and European political and intellectual leaders. Heads of states, parliamentarians, EU officials, famous scientists, analysts and political scientists are among its participants. The democratic forces of Belarus are represented by the deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Sannikau this year.

The Czech politician warned that Belarus would encounter serious problems in “Eastern Partnership” if it recognized the independence of Abkhazia and South Ossetia because it would find itself beyond the European context.
Nevertheless, leaders of EU member states approved of inclusion of Belarus in “Eastern Partnership” on March 20.
