Russian troops start arriving in Belarus for Zapad 2017 exercise

Russian troops will start arriving in Belarus on July 23. They will take part in Belarus-Russia military exercise West-2017. Soldiers from the technical equipment subdivision of the Russian Federation Western Military Okrug will arrive first, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Defense reports.
Military administration, units and organizations of Belarus and Russia’s technical equipment subdivisions will take part in a joint military exercise.
Belarusian and Russian troops will prepare stations and means of control over the units and organizations of Belarus and Russia’s technical equipment subdivisions. They will also equip the practical exercise areas.
