Stranded truck delays 5 trains near Homel

A MAZ truck carrying 15 tonns of agricultural waste stopped faulty on January 9 at a railway crossing between Homel and Zhlolbin. Emergencies Ministry spokesman Ruslan Habrylyou told Belapan that the truck was evacuated from the rails one hour after receiving a call. The incident caused up to a one-hour delay in the movement of two international trains (St Petersburg-Dnepropetrovsk and Kharkov-Kaliningrad), two commuter and one cargo trains.
