Swine farms workers banned to keep swine at private farmsteads

According to the Decree, this is conducted in the framework of the "additional measures on liquidation and prevention of the African swine fever dissemination". Keeping of swine at private farmsteads is also prohibited for the residents of the populated areas where the ASF had been recorded. The prohibition will be in force for the term no less than 6 months after liquidation of all swine and conducting a complex of veterinary-sanitary measures, informs interfax.by.



Alongside with that, the document prohibits disorganized trade of pork.



The Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of agriculture and food are prescribed to elaborate a draft law on improvement of legal relations in the sphere of veterinary activity within a month, and to submit it to the Council of Ministers.



The Decree also prescribes provision benefit credits to the organizations that suffered from the African swine fever. The money will go to restoration of the pigs livestock. "Belagroprombank" and "Belarusbank" will grant the finance.
