Tableware for Independence Palace to cost Br2.5 billion
$72 thousand dollars will also be allocated from Minsk budget to buy 3953 books for the residence.
Minsk City Executive Committee is going to buy tableware for 2 billion 548 million roubles (about $258 thousand) for the Independence Palace – the Belarusian President’s residence. The order has been made by the capital construction department of Minsk City Executive Committee. The money is supposed to be received from the local budget.
Sets made by the German company Falken-Porzellan were expected to be bought for the Independence Palace earlier. However, the auction was cancelled in the end. The current auction does no mention any particular company.
3953 books for 709 million roubles will also be bought for the residence.
