The theatre festival in Brest ended with a street performance. The XXI International Theatre Festival Belaya Vezha was held on September 9-16. The New Front Theatre from Prague performed in Lenin Square on the last day. The Czechs preformed Causa Fatalitis where actors do not say a single word. They use gestures, dances and acrobatics instead.
28 theatre troupes from 16 states took part in Belaya Vezha. Theatres from Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Romania, Poland, the Czech Republic, Latvia, Germany, France and Great Britain visited Belarus.
