Ticket collector pulled by hair: They are trying to close this case

“Lyudmila Iosifauna applied for another job. She could not continue working as a ticket collector for moral reasons, –  a representative of the ideology department of Navapolatsk bus depot #6 explained. – She is our employee but she does a different job now."

The video of the scandalous incident appeared on the Internet at the end of November 2012. Lyudmila Shahlina tried to fine a family with two small kids in a rather rude way. A 22-yera-old citizen decided to defend the family and pulled the ticket collector by the hair which resulted in a neck trauma.

The video caused argument: did the ticket collector stick to the law and who is the guy - a hooligan or a Robin Hood?

“There was a confrontation  but it did not result in anything, – the employee of the ideology department continued. – He did not apologise. Mikalai B. is not going to apologise."

We found out that Lyudmila Shahlina works in the paid parking lot of the bus depot now. We phoned her. The woman was going to meet the investigator.

“They are trying to close the case for some failure of evidence. We should either make peace or the case will be referred to court," Lyudmila Iosifauna said and asked to contact her a few hours later.

But we could not talk to her again.

 “She is away - she felt bad due to high blood pressure. I do not know anything else," her colleague sighed.

We will probably get to know about the outcome of the scandalous incident on a Navapolatsk bus soon.

 “The investigation is in process. It will be finished on Monday, January 28, - representative of Vitsebsk Province Investigation Committee Ina Harbachova said. – We will inform you about the procedural decision."
