Ukraine's president Yuschenko briefs Lukashenka about Prague summit results (video)

"Talking about the Eastern Partnership, we are most attracted by a free-trade zone and joint projects", Belarus leader Alexander Lukashenka said today when visiting the Belaruskali potashium monopoly in Salihorsk. Lukashenka: "It is yet early to evaluate (the results of the summit in Prague), because I have not received a report from the head of delegation (vice primier Uladzimir Siamashka) and the foreign minister (Sergei Martynov). But from the briefs I have received from Siamashka, Martynov and Ukraine's president Victor Andreevich Yuschenko, we have received what we counted on, in general. I will stress again that we sell a half of our products to the European Union. At times, we have to overcome significant hurdles in trade (with EU)", Lukashenka was quoted as saying by the Minsk-based STV television channel.
