Ukrainian Foreign Minister: Russia has 11 Ukrainian political prisoners
Even the Ukrainian consul cannot visit some of them.
There are 11 Ukrainian political prisoners in Russia, Ukrainian Minister for Foreign Affairs Pavel Klimkin told journalists.
"Despite all the international legal norms, even our consul is unable to visit some of them (Karpyuk, Klikh)…” UNIAN quotes the Minister.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is putting the same effort into the release of Nadezhda Savchenko, Oleg Sentsov and the other Ukrainian citizens imprisoned in Russia, he added.
