Ukrainian Stock Exchange closes due to unprecedented growth
The index has reached the level of September 2012.
The Ukrainian Stock Exchange stopped working on February 24. The Ukrainian shares index skyrocketed by over 15%.
As of 2.30 p.m. FET, it increased by 17% – up to 1092.36 points. It is the first time it has reached the level since September 2012, lb.ua reports.
Ukrainian President Victor Yanukovich was overthrown at the weekend. The country is preparing or an early election.
