Uladzimir Baradach creates fund
The Council of Belarus’ National Revival has been registered in Poland.
Baradach’s deputy Anufry Ramanovich told Euroradio about it.
The fund will be occupied with democratic changes in Belarus. Helping repressed democratic activists will be among its goals. The organization will be open to cooperation for other structures with the same goals.
The founders are hoping to get financial assistance from ordinary Belarusians too. Money will also be raised on the Internet.
The Council was supposed to become Belarus’ shadow government in exile. However, leaders of Belarusian opposition parties and organizations did not support the initiative of former riot police brigade commander Baradach.
