Uladzimir Navasyad elected chairman of Party of Freedom and Progress

Uladzimir Navasyad was today elected as the chairman of the Party of Freedom and Progress at the founding congress in Mahilyou.
The congress also adopted the statute and the program of the party. Under the statute, the party is a liberally oriented political organization.

Navasyad said the party "will take every effort in order to integrate Belarus into the European structures.

The Party of Freedom and Progress has already made four attempts to register with the Justice Ministry.
