United opposition to decide how far cooperation with authorities can go
A meeting of the Political Council of the United Democratic Forces took place on May 13. The UDF administration decided to asses the situation to see how far the cooperation with the authorities could go. The leader of the United Civil Party Anatol Lyabedzka informed ERB about it:
Lyabedzka: We have decided that we need a new look at the situation. We should define the limits of our possible cooperation with the authorities and see whether we asses the political and economic situation and the authorities’ actions in different ways…
According to Anatol Lyabedzka, a document presenting the UDF’s opinion about these issues will be ready soon. Coalition members and other democratic organizations will be asked to sign it.
