Utilities tariffs still unknown, bills must be sent by March 15
People must get their utilities bills in two days but it is still not clear what the tariffs will be.
“Nothing is clear now and we are still waiting, we will try to do everything on time,” head of the economic department of Minsk City Executive Committee Yuliya Sahaidyk said. “The bills are ready on the website komplat.by but it is a preliminary variant. The data has been added but we will not print the utilities bills until the final decision is made.”
Utilities bills must be sent by post by the 15th day of every month. This is indicated in decree #572 of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus. If we do not take the weekend into account and add the time needed to calculate the utilities payments using new tariffs, it means that the final information had to appear two days ago.
