Vincuk Vyachorka: "The route of Chernbyl March is not important"
On April 2, the opposition filed an application with Minsk City Council, seeking permission to stage the traditional street action "Chernobyl Rally" on April 26.
The application mentions the route from the Academy of Sciences along Vera Kharuzhaya, Bahdanovich, Kulman streets towards the Chernobyl chappel at the crossing of Karastayanau and Arlouskaya streets.
However, Vincuk Vyachorka, a deputy chairman of the Popular Front and one of the action organizers, told the European Radio for Belarus that this route was not final yet. The actual route will be determined later.
Vincuk Vyachorka: “The actual route will be determined close to the action. Actually, the route has a secondary meaning. The most important thing is the real mobilization of the people so that they overcome fear and show readiness to do something for their country, even if they have to risk something”.
