Volski returns to Belarusian stage at Volnaje Pavetra festival (photo)
The musician only performed at corporate parties in Belarus and played gigs in Vilnius in the past two years.
The fact that Lyavon Volski and Krambambulya’s concerts were cancelled or banned in Belarus were explained by the authorities’ pressure and “the black list of musicians”. Everyone was waiting for Volski to reappear and his set attracted more attention than the headliners of the festival – the German band Feindrehstar.
Volski performed at the festival Volnaje Pavetra on the evening of August 24. His set took less than 20 minutes. Volski performed his The sun will help us from the joint project I was born here, Land, My Land the trilogy about Kazik and Yuzik and Simple Words from People’s Album. The performance ended with Three Turtles.
Lyavon Volski, Pavel Arakelyan and the other members of Krambambulya will perform at the festival Mlyn in Dudutki on August 25.
