World Futsal Cup starts today, Belarus to play Brazil
The world championship will be held in Belarus. Matches will be organized in Minsk, Pinsk, Brest, Barysau and Maladzechna.
The XI Futsal Cup will start in Belarus on April 17. It will open in the main stadium of Minsk-Arena. Belarus and Brazil will play the first match at 7 p.m. (The match will be broadcast on Belarus 2).
Belarusians will also play Uruguay (Minsk Palace of Sport, April 19, 5p.m.) and Australia (Minsk Palace of Sport, April 20, 8 p.m.) in the group A. The best two teams will make it to the play-off. The Belarusian team last got to the quarterfinals in 2011.
