World leaders demand punishment for people who caused MH17 crash

The ceremony of commemoration of MH17 victims is being held in Australia on July 17. The plane was brought down over Donets Basin one year ago. All the 298 people on broad died. Most of the victims were Netherlanders. The Boeing-777 was heading from Amsterdam to Kuala-Lumpur.

There is enough proof of the fact that the plane was hit by a missile presented to pro-Russia separatists by Russia, the Western countries believe. Russia refutes it, BBC reports.

Australian MPs suspended their winter vacations and came to Canberra to attend the commemoration ceremony. “There were 298 innocent people on board that plane and our sense of justice cannot accept their death,” PM Tony Abbot said. The international community is going to punish the culprits, Foreign Minister Judy Bishop claimed.

Russian President Vladimir Putin declined  the appeal of Australia, the Netherlands, Malaysia and Ukraine who asked to create an international tribunal under the aegis of the UN on July 16. The people responsible for the tragedy were supposed to stand trial there. British Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs Philip Hammond joined the appeal.  The airplane was brought down from the territory controlled by ‘LPR’ and ‘DPR’ militants, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry claimed.
