Young men receive 1.5 years of “correctional labour” for beating policeman

Inhabitants of Lyahavichy have been sentenced to 1.5 years of correctional labour without imprisonment for resistance to the police. By the way, one of the participants of the fight broke the nose of a policeman. The fight began in “Alesya” café in Lyahavichy.
One visitor did not like some other one and called him outside to settle the problem. Policemen warned the guys. However, they continued fighting. About 30 people came out of the bar to watch the fight. The policemen tried to detain one of the fighters but his friend defended him. He beat one of the policemen and the guys were pushed into the police car. However, they started breaking benches there and threatened policemen. There were three attacks against policemen in Lyahavichy District last year. According to the Office of the Public Prosecutor, the punishment is not strict this time.
