Yury Rubtsou sentenced to 18 months in labour camp
A court in Belarus rules that activist Yury Rubtsou is guilty of insulting a judge and sentences him to 1.5 years of forced labor.
The activist has been returned guilty of violating article 391of the Criminal Code ‘Insulting a judge or people's assessor’. The trial was presided by judge Natallya Vaitsehovich.
The prosecutor demanded to restrict Yury Rubtsou’s liberty for three years.
Policemen were witnesses in Rubtsou’s case. The case was started on September 16.
