15:46 Prague court backs anti-Russian action
A court in Prague has ruled to drop charges against two Georgian citizens, who were tried earlier for having staged a protest action in front of the Russian embassy in the Czech Republic. The two were protesting against the prosecution of their compatriots in Russia. In December 2006 two young men were found guilty of inciting ethnic hostility and sentenced to 4 months in prison.
However, their lawyers appealed the ruling in a higher court, which today upheld the appeal.
