17:08 Belarus pilots trained to land on highways
The Belarusian military pilots will be trained to land their jets on highways, according to a new exercise introduced this year at the Belarus Air Force.
Su-25 bombers and MiG-29 jet fighters will take part in the exercise. Pilots will go through a thorough examination in April to become part of the training.
According to Belarus Air Force Commander Major General Mihail Liavicki, landing military jets on highways was not a routine exercise in Belarus before, reports Interfax.
