19:01 New Life parishers begin fasting
The parishioners of the New Life protestant church in Minsk on February 26 launched a prayer-fast in protest to the delayed resolution of their suit against the Minsk City Hall.
Accoding to the church's lawyer Siargej Lukanin, they are not yet to resumea hunger strike. "This is not a continuation of the protest action...at least for now... We earlier stated that we would resume the hunger strike if our demands were not met," he said.
