36 people evacuated from public transport during Minsk flood
Traffic was blocked for over an hour in Minsk.
Press sectary of Minsk City ECM department Vital Dembouski told Euroradio:
Dembouski: “The rain has stopped and everything is calm. 36 people were evacuated from public transport – trolleybuses and jitneys. Minsk traffic got blocked for about 75 minutes.”
Most passengers were stuck in public transport in Zyalyony Luh and Russiayanava Street.
A downpour resulted in a heavy flood in Minsk on the morning of August 14. The whole city was involved in a transport collapse.
