80% of Ukraine soldiers in Crimea defected to Russia
Ukraine's soldiers in Crimea surrendered to Russians at their own free will, MP Hennadiy Moskal from Batkivshchina faction says.
More Ukrainian soldiers have defected to the enemy in Crimea than in 1941, censor.net.ua quotes the MP. “It means that we used budget money to support potential collaborators,” Moskal stressed. The Ukrainian authorities should come to certain conclusions, he reckons.
50% of Ukrainian solders joined the Russian Army in the unrecognized Republic of Crimea, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense said on March 24.
