$9 billion credit could be spent on construction and infrastructure of Belarusian NPP
The Belarusian government is asking Russia for $9 billion not only for the construction of a new NPP but also for the creation of the necessary infrastructure needed for its construction and maintenance. The director of the department for nuclear energy of the Ministry of Energy Mikalai Hrusha has informed about it.
According to him, a letter signed by the Prime Minister Syarhei Sidorski contains a request to consider the allocation of a $9 billion credit. It has been sent to the head of the Russian government Vladimir Putin, informs “Interfax-West”.
