About 100 people participate in Slutsk meeting, Ryhor Kastusyou makes a speech

About 100 people (80 Minskers and 20 local inhabitants) took part in the meeting in Slutsk. The meeting was dedicated to commemoration of the Slutsk rebellion heroes. A half-an-hour action took place on Saturday at the city stadium and was sanctioned by the authorities.
The BPF Chairman Aliaksej Janukevich, the presidential candidate Ryhor Kastusyou, the Co-Chairman of the steering committee for creating the party "Belarusian Christian Democracy" Paval Sieviarynets, and the leader of the steering committee for creating the solidarity movement "Razam" Viachaslau Siuchyk made their speeches at the meeting.
In the end, the participants of the meeting sang the anthems "We will go united" and "God Almighty", chanted "Long Live Belarus!" and left.
Let us remind you, the Heroes' Day, or the anniversary of Slutsk rebellion - is marked on November 27. 90 years ago the Slutskers organized an armed rebellion against establishment of the Soviet authority at their territory, to preserve the independent Belarusian People's Republic. The fights between the rebels and the Bolsheviks started on November 27, 1920.
