About 100 thousand activists spend night at Maidan

Activists, protesters and artists are making speeches at Maidan. Protesters start singing the Ukrainian anthem every now and then, censor.net.ua reports.
Meanwhile, the roads to Maidan are blocked by additional barricades, there is a new barricade at Vladimirski Spusk in European Square. Thus, the central part of Kiev is separated from Podol.
Nothing has changed in Grushevski Street – the spot of clashes. Burning tyre casings separate protesters from special police troops. The police are trying to put them out with the help of water-cannons but they haven’t managed to do it so far.
Demonstrators are throwing stones at the riot police from time to time and there are fireworks. Policemen are throwing flash-bang grenades.
Protesters have built a new catapult and successfully tested it.
