Anatol Runibau: We need fewer students
Entrants should focus on specialized secondary education; head of the entrance campaign supervision commission Anatol Rubinau thinks.
Anatol Rubinau: "If a person has not passed the entrance exams, it becomes a tragedy in their family. There should be fewer specialists but the quality of education should be better. People should focus on entering technical and trade schools. Now we have three university graduates per one worker.”
The average passing grade has been increased for universities this year. Those who have not managed to enter university should go to technical and trade schools, officials think.
