Ancient Palmira free from terrorists (photo)
Photos from the historical part of the ancient city of Palmira recently freed from IS terrorists by Syrian troops have been uploaded on the Internet. Te city had been occupied for almost a year. Terrorists did a lot of damage to the city (specialists are still trying to assess them) included on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Lists. They blew up and destroyed religious buildings and monuments. The museum was severely damaged. Photo: TASS and AFP.
