Azaranka and Puchak make it to third round of doubles at Wimbledon
Two Belarusian tennis players – Tatstsyana Puchak and Victoria Azaranka will take part in the third round of the doubles at Wimbledon on June 29.
Puchak and Ukrainian Maria Koryttseva defeated Romanian Sorana Cirstea and a Dutch player Caroline Wozniacki on Saturday — 4:6, 7:6, 6:4.
Azaranka and Russian Alena Vesnina made it to the third round without any competitions. Their rivals – Magdalena Rybarikova from Slovakia and Yanina Vikmaer from Belgium did not manage to conduct the matches.
Maxim Mirny who plays with Russian Nadezhda Petrova in the mixed tournament has also made it to the third round.
