Police raid BelaPAN owner's flat in Minsk
The flat belonging to director of the only private news agency in Belarus BelaPAN Ales Lipai is being searched, Belarusian Association of Journalists (BAJ) reports. The search is being conducted by the Financial Investigations Department of the State Control Committee.
It is not clear at the moment what the head of the well-known independent news agency might be suspected of. His workmates and journalists are not allowed to enter Lipai’s apartment. His mobile phone is switched off.
