Belarus’ foreign-exchange reserves decrease by almost $838m in one month

Belarus foreign-exchange reserves have decreased by almost 383 million dollars or 11.5% in a month. As of February 1, they totaled $6 billion 477 million 400 thousand dollars, the press service of the Belarusian National Bank reports. This is preliminary information.
The plan redemption of “internal and external liabilities for the sum of about $1.4bn” has affected the foreign-exchange reserves, the press service noted. Almost $836 million of the sum is government liabilities in the international financial market.
