Belarus' gold and currency reserves down $140 million

Belarus' gold and currency reserves totalled $7 017,7 million, reports press office of the National Bank.

In January 2019, the reserves went down $139.9 million or 2% due to the scheduled payments to service the foreign and domestic loans in amount of $650 million, the National Bank has explained.

According to the forecasts, the National Bank's foreign reserve assets will amount to at least $7.1 billion by 1 January 2020.
