Belarus has bid farewell to Yury Kurnenin
Several thousand Belarusian football fans have come to a Minsk stadium “Dynama” to bid farewell to a famous football player and a coach Yury Kurnenin today, informs BelTA.
The Minister of Sports and Tourism Aleh Kachan, the vice President of the NOC Henadz Alyakseyenka, the chief manager of Belarus national team Bernd Schtange, representatives of football clubs and players of the golden team Minsk “Dynama-82” have attended the funeral ceremony.
Yury Kurnenin died at the age of 55 on July 30. He has been buried in the Northern Cemetery.
