Belarus riot police get paid as ministers

Privates and officers of the Minsk-based riot police force have been given an additional 40-percent rise in salaries, according to unofficial sources. Privates and seargents recieve an average of Br1-1.5 million, while a squad commander gets around Br3 million. A platoon commander recieves around Br5 million. A police major has a salary of Br5-6Br million, while the chief of the riot police force has been granted Br7-8 million per month, according to the Belarusian Partisan.
