Belarus still in talks with Gazprom over gas price for 2009
Belarus deputy prime minister Uladzimir Syamashka said that negotiations with Gazprom over the gas price in 2009 were still in progress. He also noted that he did not know yet what the price would be.
Syamashka reminded that the sides had earlier agreed that Gazprom would charge average European gas prices beginning from January 1, 2011. From the same time, equal prices would be charged inside Russia as well.
