Belarus to use Russian loan of $110 million to repay to Russia
Belarus Finance Minister Uladzimir Amaryn says the money will be used to service the previous Russian loan.
Belarus will use the Russian loan of $110 million received at the end of April to refinance part of the government loans to Russia in 2015, reports TASS quoting Finance Minister Uladzimir Amaryn.
The Minister said that the official Minsk has no problems with paying off loans. According to Amaryn, Minsk is conducting talks with the IMF and hopes to receive from it a loan under the new program. In addition, the official said, experts from Minsk are negotiating with the Anti-Crisis Fund (ACF) of the the Eurasian Economic Community on new loans.
This year Belarus has to pay 4 billion dollars of foreign debts.
